Invites & partners
Last updated 26 September 2026
In Bida Nào you can start a match with an empty seat and invite a friend into it. This page explains how an invite works, what “Partners” on your player card means, and the small number of rules that keep it honest. It is part of our terms of use.
How an invite works
When you start a singles match without an opponent in the app, you get an invite: a link, a QR code and a six-character code. Scoring starts straight away. Your friend can take the seat during the match or up to 24 hours after it started, by scanning the QR, opening the link, or entering the code when they sign up.
Once they have joined, the result needs their agreement. When they tap Agree, the match is rated for both of you like any other. If nobody joins, or the result is not agreed within the 24 hours, the match stays in your history as unconfirmed and counts for nothing: no rating, no statistics, no partner.
You can remove someone who took your seat by mistake at any time before the result is agreed. The seat reopens with the same code.
What a partner is
A partner is a friend who was new to Bida Nào when you invited them and who has gone on to play. Your Partners count on your player card goes up by one when all of the following are true:
- their account was created after your invite and verified with a mobile number;
- the match you invited them into was agreed by both of you;
- they have played five frames in matches that were agreed or rated;
- fourteen days have passed since that fifth frame.
A player who already had an account when they scanned your invite is an opponent, not a partner. Each person can be a partner to one inviter only: the first invite they used.
What a partner is worth
A number on your card. Partners has no monetary value: it cannot be exchanged for Pro time, credit, discounts or anything at a venue, and it is not transferable. It appears on your own player card and nowhere else public.
One account per person
Bida Nào allows one account per verified mobile number. Invites you send to yourself, or to accounts that are not real people, do not count and may be removed. Do not post invite codes on coupon or deal sites; a code is for the friend you are actually playing with.
Removal and changes
We may withhold or remove a partner that was earned by an account that breaks our terms of use. We may change or close the invite programme at any time; partners already earned stay on your card.
Privacy
An invite link shows the game, the venue, the date and the frames so far. It shows no names. We store the invite and, once your friend joins, the link between the two accounts; an invite nobody used is deleted after it expires. The full picture is in our privacy notice.
