How much does it cost to play pool and snooker in Singapore?

Updated 2 November 2026

At the Singapore venues that publish their own rates, a standard pool or snooker table costs S$10.80 to S$20 an hour at the public rate. Weekday daytime is the cheapest time to play. Evenings cost S$2.20 to S$5.50 an hour more, and members pay less. These figures come from 15 venues’ own rate cards, which we checked on 2 November 2026. Each venue’s page in our directory shows that venue’s own rate card, with a link to where the venue posted it and the date it was posted. Prices change, so check with the venue before you go.

How these figures were collected

We used only the prices a venue published itself: its own website or booking page, its host club’s official page, or its own social media post. Figures from blogs and review sites were not used. Where a venue publishes nothing, we give no figure for it.

Each range below runs from the lowest to the highest public rate for a standard table on those cards. Promotions, TV tables and private rooms are listed separately. Prices are by the hour, unless stated. Pubs and bars publish no table price, and most private members’ clubs publish none.

Independent pool and billiard venues

Eight independent venues publish their rates. Seven of them give a standard rate.

Pool costs S$10.80 to S$20 an hour. In the daytime on weekdays, the lowest public rate is S$10.80 and the highest is S$20. In the evening, rates run from S$13.80 to S$19.80. One venue publishes only its weekday daytime rate.

Snooker and Heyball cost S$11.80 to S$20 an hour, at the four venues that publish a rate for those tables.

Five of these cards are dated, from 8 December 2025 to 12 September 2026. The other three carry no date.

Venues inside a club building

Five venues run their billiard room inside a sports or community club building. Most of them charge the club’s members less than everyone else.

Pool for non-members costs S$10.80 to S$14.80 an hour, at the three venues that publish a non-member pool rate. Snooker costs S$11.80 to S$16 an hour at the posted rates. One venue’s snooker card runs from S$9 to S$14.50 but does not say whether that applies to non-members.

Club members pay S$1.80 to S$2.90 an hour less at the two venues that show both rates. One venue lists member rates only; its highest category, “public member”, is S$19 an hour for any table, all day.

These cards are older. The three dated ones were posted between 6 June 2024 and 15 March 2025, and each of those venue pages marks the price as possibly out of date. Two carry no date.

Private members’ clubs, pubs and bars

Most members’ clubs with a billiard room publish no table rate. Two do, and at both a non-member pays an entry charge on top of the table. At one sports club, snooker and pool cost S$5 an hour on weekdays before 6pm and S$7 an hour after 6pm and at weekends; a non-member pays a guest fee of S$3 on weekdays and S$4 at weekends, and the club states these prices before GST. At one country club, a visitor pays S$11.28 an hour per table and also needs a day membership, whose price is not published. Members pay less.

None of the pubs and bars in our directory publishes a price for its pool table. Ask at the bar.

What changes the price

Time of day. Every venue that publishes more than one rate charges more later in the day. The higher rate starts at 5pm or 6pm on weekdays, and at several venues it starts at 2pm or 3pm at weekends. The step up is S$2.20 to S$5.50 an hour.

Weekday or weekend. Besides starting the evening rate earlier, some venues charge more on Fridays, Saturdays or weekends: S$1 to S$1.50 an hour more at the four venues whose cards show it. One venue publishes its Monday-to-Thursday rates only.

The game. At venues that price the games separately, snooker costs the same as pool or up to S$2.10 an hour more. Heyball, where a card lists it, is priced the same as snooker or the same as pool, depending on the venue.

Membership. Several venues sell their own membership, and three state a discount of 20%. Venues inside a club building charge that club’s members less, and private members’ clubs charge members the least.

TV tables and private rooms. Tables used for broadcasting matches (“TV tables”) cost S$19.90 to S$35 an hour where a venue lists them. Private rooms cost S$58.20 to S$88.20 an hour.

Practising alone, bundles and promotions. Four venues list a lower rate for practising alone, from S$5.40 to S$14.40 an hour, and at least two of these are for members only. One venue sells two-hour and three-hour bundles that cost less per hour than its hourly rate, and two state that time is pro-rated, so you pay for the minutes you play. Promotions run below the standard rates: one venue offers pool at S$6.50 an hour on weekdays from 10am to 3pm, and another offers snooker at S$14.80 an hour all day. Promotions end without notice, so treat them as a bonus.

Before you go

Rate cards are updated without notice, so check with the venue before you go, especially when its card is more than a year old. Each venue page shows when the venue posted its price and when we last checked it.

Ask whether you need to be a member: some venues inside clubs, and every private members’ club, have their own entry rules. To find a venue, see all places to play in Singapore, snooker venues and Heyball venues, each grouped by area.

Once you are at the table, you can score your frames in the Bida Nào app. Confirmed frames build your BidaRate, kept separately for pool, Heyball and snooker; how BidaRate works explains the scale.
