Pool scoring

A pool scoring app that keeps up with the table.

Score 8-ball, 9-ball, 10-ball and Heyball in a few taps, then put the phone down and play. Every frame you score is kept for your stats, and confirmed frames build your rating. Free on Android and iPhone.

Fewer taps, by design

The rules of each game do most of the work, so you only tap what the app cannot work out for itself.

  • 9-ball and 10-ball. The balls go down in order, so the app does not need every pot. When a turn ends, tap the ball that was left on. Every ball below it is counted for that player. A combination or carom has its own switch.
  • 8-ball and Heyball. Tap each ball as it drops. The first pot decides the groups, and after that every ball counts for its owner, whoever struck it. Nothing to record when someone misses.
  • The end of a frame. In 8-ball and Heyball, the app asks one question at the end: was it a break and run, a run-out, or an ordinary win? It never guesses.
  • Mistakes. Every tap can be undone.

Any match, any format

  • Single rack, or a race to any number from 2 to 25.
  • Singles, doubles, trios, or three players in one frame (rotation games).
  • Pool tables and Heyball tables. Heyball is rated on its own, because its tight pockets make it a different game.
  • Turn the phone sideways for a full scoreboard you can prop up beside the table.
  • Hand the scoring to another phone in the middle of a match. Nothing scored is lost.
  • If the signal drops during a match, no frame is lost. Racks are kept on the phone and sent when the connection returns.

Invite your opponent, or confirm without the app

Start scoring at once and leave your opponent’s seat open. They join with a QR code, a link or a six-character code, during the match or within 24 hours of its start.

A result counts only when your opponent agrees to it. If they do not have the app, they can open the link in any browser, read the result frame by frame, and confirm it there. It counts for both of you once they make a Bida Nào account.

Stats you keep

Frames, wins, break and runs, run-outs and your personal bests, kept for every game you play. Each game has its own figures, so your 9-ball is never mixed with your 8-ball.

Counts and records are free and never lock. Rates, trends, head-to-head and the monthly report are part of Analytics Pro, free for your first 30 days.

What the stats show →
The stats hub: break, scoring, closing and pressure, with a break tile reading 12 of 20.

A rating you earn

Every confirmed frame builds your BidaRate, one rating per game, on a scale from 2.0 to 10.0. It appears after a few rated frames and settles as you play more.

How BidaRate works →
The Stats screen: a BidaRate of 5.6 on the 2.0 to 10.0 scale, with frames, wins, break & runs and run-outs beneath it.

More than a scoreboard

  • Player cards. One card per game, with your number on it, to keep and to share.
  • Venue leaderboards. Rated frames you score at a venue put you on that venue’s own board.
  • Watch live. Make a casual match public and others can follow its frame score as it is played.

Questions

Is there a free pool scoring app?

Yes. Bida Nào is free to download on Android and iPhone, and scoring is free with no limit on matches. An optional paid plan, Analytics Pro, adds rates, trends and head-to-head; counts and records stay free.

How do you keep score in 9-ball with the app?

Tap the ball that was left on when a turn ends. Every lower ball is counted for that player. Tap “Ran out!” or “Frame end” to finish the frame.

How do you keep score in 8-ball with the app?

Tap each ball as it drops. The first pot decides the groups; after that each ball counts for the player who owns it. Clear your group, then tap the 8 to win the frame.

Can I keep score online without downloading anything?

Scoring happens in the app. Your opponent, though, does not need it to confirm a result: they can open your link in any browser and confirm there.

Does it work for league matches?

You can score any race, singles or doubles. The app does not apply a league’s own handicap or points system.

Does it keep my stats?

Yes. Every frame you score is kept, and your frames, wins, break and runs, run-outs and records are always free to see.

Do I need an opponent with the app?

No. Start scoring with the seat open. Your opponent can join during the match, or confirm the result in a browser afterwards. A result counts only once they agree to it.
